Sydney Home Show Giveaway Terms and Conditions

Win an AJAX IP Alarm System supplied and installed by Oztech Sparks Electrical.
 

  1. The Special Gift is available for redemption immediately after the participant completes the contest's mechanics.

  2. The contest for the Grand Prize is open to all participants 18 years old and above and are legal residents of Australia.

  3. The Grand Prize will be drawn on Tuesday, 19th March at 9am AEST. The Winner will be announced via social media channels and emailed on Tuesday, 26th March at 9am AEST.

  4. The Grand Prize is an AJAX Alarm System supplied, installed and commissioned onto Winner's phone. The value of the Grand Prize is approximately $2,300.00 AUD (excluding GST). The system includes the following:

    1. 1 x Main Ajax IP Hub 

    2. 3 x Pet-Friendly PIR Wireless Sensors 

    3. 1 x LED Wireless Keypad

    4. 1 x Internal Wireless Screamer 

    5. 1 x External Wireless Siren/Strobe

  5. The property on which the Grand Prize is installed must be within the Greater Sydney and Illawarra regions. If the Winner does not own a property within this region, a redraw will occur.

  6. The property on which the Grand Prize is installed must be legally owned and resided in by the Winner. The Grand Prize cannot be installed onto the property under lease.

  7. Participants will only be given one chance to win the Grand Prize.

  8. To participate in the contest, participants must complete the mechanics provided by the organiser and meet the Conditions of Entry. The organiser’s decision on the completion of the mechanics shall be final.

  9. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen through a random draw from all eligible entries.

  10. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash or other prizes.

  11. By accepting this prize, the Winner acknowledges the materials and labour included and will be responsible for additional costs that may be incurred, or additional costs in regard to increased scope of work. E.g. Requesting additional work or parts.

  12. By participating in the contest, the participants agree to allow the organiser to use their name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and advertising purposes.

  13. The organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred by the participants or the winner in connection with the contest or the use of the prize.

  14. Participants must reply within 24 hours of receiving the notification of winning to confirm their acceptance of the prize. Failure to do so may result in disqualification, and another winner will be chosen.

  15. The Winner must be a legal resident of Greater Sydney and Illawarra, Australia, and must provide proof of residency upon request.

  16. The Winner will be contacted through the contact details provided by the participant during the contest. The organiser shall not be responsible for any incorrect or outdated contact details provided by the participant.

  17. The organiser reserves the right to withhold the prize if the Winner fails to comply with these terms and conditions or engages in fraudulent or inappropriate behaviour.

  18. In the event of a redraw, the organiser will follow the same criteria for selecting a Winner from a randomised draw.

  19. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of NSW, Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW, Australia.

 
Conditions of Entry

  1. To participate in the contest, participants must complete the mechanics provided by the organiser and meet the Conditions of Entry. The organiser’s decision on the completion of the mechanics shall be final.

  2. The contest for the Grand Prize is open to all participants 18 years old and above and are legal residents of Australia.

  3. To enter, participants must complete the online registration form and follow Oztech Sparks Electrical on Facebook and Instagram.

  4. At the time of drawing the Winner, the Conditions of Entry will be checked and all criteria must be met to qualify as the Winner if drawn.

  5. The property on which the Grand Prize is installed must be within the Greater Sydney and Illawarra regions. If the Winner does not own a property within this region, a redraw will occur.

  6. The property on which the Grand Prize is installed must be legally owned and resided in by the Winner. The Grand Prize cannot be installed onto the property under lease.
